Commercial Interior Design

New York, USA

953 Dean St. V4 is envisioned as a vibrant heritage marketplace where the rich traditions of Baba Nyonya culture are reimagined through a refined and immersive retail experience. Inspired by the elegance of Peranakan craftsmanship, the interior embraces a welcoming palette of emerald green, muted terracotta, warm cream, antique gold, and rich walnut wood. Intricate floral motifs adorn bespoke shelving, display islands, and architectural details, while handcrafted ceiling panels, decorative lanterns, and textured wall finishes celebrate the beauty of heritage artistry. Soft ambient lighting blends with gentle natural daylight, creating an atmosphere that feels warm, comfortable, and inviting for every visitor.

Every corner of the mart is thoughtfully curated to enhance both discovery and experience. Elegant display shelving showcases an extensive selection of dry groceries, sauces, spices, preserved delicacies, bottled products, and heritage snacks, while suspended display racks enriched with greenery create visual interest and openness throughout the space. Decorative Peranakan ceramic pots, handcrafted cabinetry, and heritage-inspired wall panels introduce layers of authenticity and warmth. Together, these elements create a timeless destination where culture, quality, and everyday shopping come together in a welcoming environment that celebrates the enduring charm of Baba Nyonya heritage.
